CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THE PAST
One reason we created this site...
We wanted to learn if computers can be used to create "conversations" about archaeology and history among lots of different people. To do this, WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Ways to participate...
Just do one or more of the following:
You will not need to reveal your personal identity. Some forms do ask for an email address, but this will not be used to solicit anything or try to sell you anything (now or in the future!).
Other (equally important) reasons this site is here...
We hope you will let us know whether are are doing a good job of this, or not!
Do you want to know how all this turns out?
We will be happy to share the results of this research with you, if you like. Just send me your email address on one of the feedback forms, ask me to keep you updated, and you will be sent regular updates about what's going on. I will also report results on the web site from time to time.
Some of the background for all of this is described in a report I made to the University of Cambridge Department of Archaeology as a part of my Ph.D. research there. You can read it if you like, and if you have any questions about my research, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org .You can also contact Jane Woods at email@example.com if you want to verify my identity as a researcher within the department.
